À peine arriver dans la capitale de la province du Sud-Kivu via le port Ihusi ce samedi 18 février 2023, le Docteur Patrick Salumu s’est acquitté de son devoir citoyen, celui de se faire enrôler pour avoir sa carte d’électeur. 

Il appelle toute la population de Bukavu et plus particulièrement de Cahi, de faire comme lui, de s’enrôler massivement, car l’avenir du pays en dépend.

« Dans ces circonstances, le message est unique. Tout le monde doit s’enrôler, faire comme moi, faire comme tous ceux qui nous ont précédé aux enrôlements. C’est un droit et un devoir, il faut s’impliquer pour voir comment améliorer l’avenir de notre pays. »

Et d’ajouter :

« J’ai une joie immense de voir que j’ai bien été accueilli et mes remerciements à toute la population qui m’a accueilli depuis le port Ihusi. Je réitère le message de demander la population d’aller se faire enrôler. » 

Accompagné d’une foule imense, il est parti à pied du port Ihusi jusqu’au centre d’enrôlement à Cahi.

Signalons que par la suite, il s’est rendu dans la salle du centenaire de la paroisse Mater Dei pour parler au public et où il s’est vu décerner certains prix de reconnaissance de la part du Barza Grand Lacs.
